Notification under paragraphs 3.1.2R to 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules
Hill & Smith Holdings PLC ("Hill & Smith" or the "Company") announces that it was notified on 23 December 2008 that Mr H C Marshall, being a person discharging managerial responsibilities of Hill & Smith, has purchased 6,694 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 190.38 pence per share. This transaction was effected on 23 December 2008 on the London Stock Exchange.
Following this purchase, Mr Marshall is beneficially interested in 78,624 ordinary shares in the Company.
